I’ve spent 12 years leading the design of modern homes for families across the DMV. I started RT Studio because I was tired of watching great visions derail due to budget confusion and fragmented planning. I believe you deserve a design process that is as disciplined as it is inspired.
WHY I CREATED THE MODERN VISION ASSESMENT (MVA)
My career was built in the world of commercial architecture—an environment where "guessing" isn't an option. In commercial work, you don’t start drawing until the feasibility is proven and the budget is locked.
For 12 years, I’ve been designing modern homes across the DMV as a specialized studio. During that time, I was shocked to see how often residential projects are handled with the opposite approach. Families were being asked to make massive emotional and financial commitments based on nothing more than a "napkin sketch" and a hope that the budget would work out.
I created the Modern Vision Assessment to bring commercial-grade discipline to the family home. I wanted to give my clients a "Professional First Step"—a way to verify the zoning, the site constraints, and the real-world costs before they ever commit to a full design.
