This project reimagines a traditional home with a modern extension that finally gives the property the openness and connection it always needed. A new glass‑clad volume replaces an underused exterior area, creating a dining and gathering space that feels anchored to the garden and alive throughout the day. The warm wood ceiling, slender structural lines, and expansive glazing introduce a calm architectural identity without overwhelming the original house. Inside, the updated layout brings clarity and purpose — a sequence of spaces that support how people actually live, moving easily between cooking, working, and spending time together. The result is a quiet transformation: a home that keeps its familiar character while embracing a more modern, light‑filled way of living.
