RT Studio is a modern residential architecture studio in North Bethesda, Maryland. Every design we draw is built first as a three-dimensional model, so you can judge your home on how it will actually look and feel, not on a floor plan.
Visualization is not a product we sell. It is how we design. Every project includes 3D modeling, material direction and lighting studies, because decisions about massing, materials and daylight are far easier to make when you can see them.
What You See During Design
Exterior renderings, photoreal views of the finished home on its actual site, with real orientation, setbacks, and surroundings.
Interior renderings, key spaces shown with the materials, daylight, and proportions you will actually live with.
Walkthrough video, a moving tour through the design, room to room, so you understand the flow before anything is framed.
Material and lighting studies, side-by-side comparisons of cladding, finishes, and times of day, so material decisions are made on evidence.
Why We Design This Way
A floor plan asks you to imagine. A rendering shows you. Most of our clients use visualization to decide on massing and materials before anything is built, to catch problems while they are still free to fix, to get everyone (spouse, builder, lender) looking at the same picture, and to present a clear, readable proposal to a county reviewer or HOA.
Renderings vs. AI Images
AI can generate a beautiful house in seconds. It cannot generate your house.
Our renderings come out of a real 3D model built on your actual lot, with correct dimensions, orientation, and setbacks. What you are looking at is something that can be permitted and built, priced by a contractor, and handed to a framer. An AI image is inspiration. A rendering is a decision you can act on.
Where It Fits in the Process
Intro Call. A free 15-minute conversation about your project, your site, and what you need to see.
Model and draft views. As the design takes shape we build it in 3D and share draft views for your feedback.
Refinement. Views are updated as the design develops, with walkthrough video where the project calls for it.
