From choppy to connected

A growing family loved their home but not how it lived. The layout felt choppy, dark, and disconnected, and they needed more room without the cost of new foundations.

We took off the existing roof and built a new layout on the original perimeter. The family gained square footage without touching the foundations, and the new plan brings more openness, better flow, and a calmer atmosphere.

Outside, a charcoal and white exterior, new black windows, and a wood deck with steps down to the garden bring the whole house up to date.

“We have what feels like a completely new home. We love the space and flow and feel like it’s everything we wanted.” — A.T., Rockville, MD
